Approval of Fuel Bid

requires the district to utilize a competitive bid process for purchases that are anticipated to exceed $75,000.  Every other year KWRL seeks bids for fuel.  Fuel is priced based on "OPIS+". , is a Dow Jones company that daily surveys wholesale prices and determines the wholesale price for "Vancouver Washington Rack" (Portland wholesale rack prices plus Washington Taxes) gasoline and diesel. The bid prices below represent the amount that each vendor adds/subtracts to/from the wholesale price for diesel and gasoline.
