Re: CTE Board Report
Applied Math
Applied Math just finished our Robotics unit where students investigated the accuracy of a robot. They used blocky to code the robot and then collected data on how often it finished a given task. The second investigation used a robot to move in front of a motion detector. The students investigated the relationship between distance, motion, and the slope of a line when data is graphed. They had to connect the multiple representations (graphs, tables, and words) to find commonalities. Our next project is mapping out and designing a water park.
