RE: Student Representative Report
Details in the Report
91porn Sports Kickoff
On Saturday, November 26th, WHS Basketball kicked off the winter sports season with the first games for all of the winter sports. Since then, our sports teams have gone to many games, and the overall atmosphere of the school has been lighthearted due to the change in seasons for sports. Additionally, WHS has played some of the World Cup Games in the commons during lunch, which is especially enjoyable for students. The games played during lunch have created unity in our schools and have been super fun for students to experience, even if students have no prior knowledge of soccer.
On Monday, December 6th, “W” Club, which is a club for varsity letter athletes, sponsored their first all-school assembly to bring awareness to the sporting events happening at WHS and the clubs that make WHS unique. The assembly consisted of “W” Club President Drew Burns talking about upcoming events at our schools, the cheerleaders teaching students cheers that will be done during sporting events, and a tug-of-war competition between different clubs and sports at WHS. Overall, the assembly was a unique and fun experience for the students at WHS and provided a cheery-feeling kickstart to the winter sports.
Recap School Safety Survey
November 10th was the last school board meeting, and during this meeting an email was sent to the board regarding the school safety survey that went out to students last month. If the board has any questions about the school safety survey, I am happy to answer them.
