Resolution 16-04 - Acceptance of Summer Remodel Projects

The remodeling work at Woodland Primary, Woodland Intermediate, and Woodland Middle Schools that was performed during the summer of 2015 has been completed and inspected by the architect who has certified the work complete.  In order to make final payment to the general contractor the following must occur as defined in , which states:

Final payment under contract shall be subject to all of the following:

1. Completion of building commissioning;
2. The architect's letter of inspection indicating that the work has been completed;
3. Certification by the superintendent that no liens have been filed on the project, or if liens have been filed, a certified list of the liens and their respective order of priority;
4. Written final acceptance by the board.

Steps 1-3 have occured.   Resolution 16-04 will serve as formal acceptance by the board of the completed project.
