Re: January Review
Here is an overview of the key activities we worked on in relation to teaching and learning during January.
²Ñ´Ç²Ô»å²¹²â’s: There were only 2 Monday’s for staff to meet. The last Monday of the month was used to discuss School Improvement plans and this was done during a staff breakfast sponsored by one of our committees. We ended that Monday with a mid year graduation which are always fun. The other Monday was used to prep our staff for Navigation lessons.
Finals: Finals went well with a high percentage of student attendance for the tests and a very serious tone was felt throughout the high school. We also held the mid year math end of course exams right at the end of the month with over 100 students taking their exams. This was a collaborative effort between all three Woodland School district high schools.
Other information: The new high school planning is going along nicely with our staff. Teachers have reviewed their area drawings and have been passing along information and updates to our architects. There is a really positive feeling in the school in regards to the building of the new high school.
