RESOLUTION No. 2567

KWRL Transportation Building Remodel Financing Plan

 

WHEREAS,   there is agreement by a majority of each school board comprising the KWRL Transportation Cooperative that there is need to move forward with a remodel and expansion of the KWRL Transportation Center; and,

WHEREAS,   there is agreement by a majority of each school board comprising the KWRL Transportation Cooperative that funds that have been collected from the four districts and currently on deposit in the Woodland School District General Fund should be used to support the local share of this project; and,

WHEREAS,   there is agreement by a majority of each school board comprising the KWRL Transportation Cooperative that funds previously transferred to the 91porn Capital Projects Fund on behalf of KWRL, amounting to approximately $60,000 should be used to support the local share of this project; and,

WHEREAS,   there is agreement by a majority of each school board comprising the KWRL Transportation Cooperative that the four districts will proportionately share the costs of in excess of the KWRL funds currently reserved in the Woodland School District General fund and Capital Projects Fund, and that the districts each agree to an additional levy of approximately $140,000 in the current fiscal year to create a reserved fund balance equal to the estimated $900,000 local share for the proposed project; 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Woodland School board shall by this resolution set aside and reserve in their general fund $900,000 for the purpose of funding the local share of the proposed KWRL transportation center project.
