Approval of Sodexo Food Services Management Contract

RE: Food Service Recommendation

 

After a thorough review of the RFP documents received and site visits to school district contracted with both Chartwell's and Sodexo, I would like to recommend Sodexo, Inc. as the FSMC (Food Service Management Company) for the 2012-13 school year.  I attached the scoring rubric that was used in evaluating the information submitted by both companies and the information gathered during the site visits.  You will also find a document introducing Sodexo, Inc to the district.  Russ Kallwick and Jamie Williams will be at the board meeting to introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have.  After acceptance, a contract will be developed and approved at an upcoming board meeting.  I am excited to get started with them in planning and taking the Woodland Food Service Program into the future.  If you have specific questions about the RFP and selection process, I will answer those at the meeting.
