REPORTS TO THE BOARD
Student Representative ReportNone.
Other Reports The Board discussed the reports. Jim Bays asked Board members to read the information that Mark Houk provided about half day Kindergarten, and let him know if they would like to add the topic for a future agenda.
SUPERINTENDENT REPORT
Michael Green said he has been very busy with bond meetings. He invited the Board to join him at upcoming meetings:
Tuesday, March 13th at Chamber Meeting-noon (Michael) Wednesday, March 14th for Preschool parents-(Paul) Wednesday, March 14th at WHS Library-6:30pm (Michael) Friday, March 16th at Port of Woodland meeting-(Michael)
Michael will email Board members next week's schedule.
Last Thursday, Michael joined the Trap Shooting Club. He was impressed by the safety procedures. There were12 or 13 students, and parents came to participate. Michael said that the club has received $50,000 in donations that will keep the club fully funded.

CITIZENS REQUESTS
BOARD REPORTS AND REQUESTS
Tina Cayton told the Board about all the citizens' group activities for promoting the new high school bond. The Board discussed the activities. She has heard comments from parents concerned about dress code at the Primary School. Jim Bays said that he has drafted a letter and is sending it to the editors of local newspapers, telling citizens where they can get information about the bond.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
Student Learning Data System Overview Asha Riley presented the Board with an overview of the student data system and how it is used to help students' progress. She said that Steve Rippl has incredible talent and has created an extremely useful system that helps teachers track data of students throughout grade levels. The information follows them throughout their career in Woodland Schools. The reports show what students are struggling with and tracks academic interventions and progress. The Board discussed the data system. Tina Cayton said it's very innovative.
WQCC Meeting PlanningMichael told the Board that the District is hosting the next WQCC meeting on April 18th. He asked the Board for items for the agenda. The Board discussed the meeting and said that they would like to postpone the meeting until July if there are not enough agenda items to make it a worthwhile meeting. One possible item that Michael said they could put on the agenda is the Cowlitz County Planning Department Butte Hill explosives storage center. Michael has not had the opportunity to investigate the issue. Jim Bays and Michael will work on an agenda and let the Board know if there are enough items for a meeting in April. *Tina had to leave the meeting at 6:47pm.
CONSENT AGENDA
The Board discussed the consent agenda, including a WIS field trip to OMSI. Fundraising efforts provided funds for the entire field trip.
