a.听听听听听听聽 Lost close game to WF West for berth to Regionals. WF West has since made the final 4 at state.

b.听听听听听听 Turnout numbers were down this year, coach is looking forward to strong 8^th grade class to help increase numbers. 3 starters return next season.

2.听听听听听听 HS Boys' Basketball

a.听听听听听听聽 All but one player returning next season - ended season starting 4 freshman.

b.听听听听听听 Coach is looking forward to strong 8^th grade class to help increase low turnout numbers from this year.

3.听听听听听听 HS Wrestling

a.听听听听听听聽 Willie Davis was lone representative at state tournament (lost in 2).

b.听听听听听听 Wrestling coaches also looking forward to strong 8^th grade class to improve turnout numbers.

Spring Sports

1.听听听听听聽 HS Boys' Baseball

a.听听听听听听聽 New head coach (Owen Frasier - former assistant at Skyview HS) has been hired

b.听听听听听听 Turnout numbers are at 27... very few upperclassmen - similar to all other boys' sports this year.

c.听听听听听听聽 Two volunteer coaches added to the staff (Dan Larson, Dan Beatty).

d.听听听听听听 Installed second batting cage in Primary Mezzanine.

e.听听听听听听 Varsity field improvements almost completed

听听听听听听听听听听 i.听听听听聽 Red rock (donated by Dave Jennings Trucking) has been added to border of field.

听听听听听听听听听听 ii.听听听听聽 Sod cutting and tractor work donated by Brandon Eterno (cousin of new head coach).

听听听听听听听听听听 iii.听听听听聽 Turnout has been very good at weekend workdays by players and parents.

g.听听听听听听聽 First game is March 17 vs. La Center (at Woodland).

2.听听听听听听 HS Girls' Fastpitch

a.听听听听听听聽 Defending 2A State Champions return all but one starter.

b.听听听听听听 Turnout numbers are at 26.

c.听听听听听听聽 Two volunteer coaches added to the staff (Kim Dyson, George Trice)

d.听听听听听听 JV field in process of being re-done (weather is not cooperating).

e.听听听听听听 JV dugouts in the works - still working out donations.

f.听听听听听听聽聽 Varsity field in good shape.

g.听听听听听听聽 First game is March 16 vs. Prairie (at Woodland).

e.听听听听听听 Continue working towards implementation of a HS Letterman's Club for fall.

f.听听听听听听聽聽 Explore possible implementation of annual/season family and individual athletic passes (this has been a consistent request from the community).

g.听听听听听听聽 Facility research - compare our rates and guidelines to those of neighboring districts.

h. 听听听听听听 Update leagueminder website and prepare for full implementation in the fall - train coaches and parents on how to use for messages, schedule changes, team information, etc..
