Re:         Adoption of 3 novels for use in Middle School English classes

The Instructional Materials Committee met on April 26th to review request from the middle school staff for the adoption of three novels. The committee unanimously approved all three novels. I am submitting this request to your for board approval. The titles, number of books needed and book summaries are attached.

The English Department at the Middle School is using $400 from their budget as well as $500 from PTSA.

Candice is also looking into putting some book fair profits towards the purchase.

The district curriculum department with contribute the remaining cost towards the purchase.
