Woodland High School Students Excel at FFA Regionals!
Woodland High School's FFA chapter demonstrated exceptional professionalism and skill at this year's highly competitive FFA District 8 Regionals.
Students competing in Employability faced a rigorous series of challenges, showcasing their abilities in essential career skills. The competition included:
Our students rose to the occasion, leaving a lasting impression on the judges. CTE Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor Kendra Pearce received numerous compliments on their professionalism and polite demeanor, making Woodland High School proud!
Alexia Alplanalp's journey exemplifies the personal growth fostered by the FFA program. In her own words, "I am so grateful to have been allowed to represent Woodland FFA at state. Placing second in not only one but two competitions has shown me that I can do anything I put my mind to and work hard to accomplish. A few years ago, I would never have imagined myself competing in speaking competitions in general. It just wasn't who I was, so I am so proud of how far I've come over the past year, and I can't wait to continue at State.”
We are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our students:
Congratulations to Alexis, Cody, Zem, Jonathan, and Olivia on their remarkable accomplishments. We wish Alexis, Cody, Zem, and Olivia the best of luck as they advance to the state competition at WSU Pullman, May 7-10!
